Strum Village Board discusses remaining ARPA funds

STRUM - The Strum Village Board held a discussion on its remaining ARPA funds during its March meeting on the 11th in the Village Civic Center.

The discussion centered on how to use the remaining funds within the parameters of the rules of the grants. Potential ideas that were discussed include purchasing a new batting cage net and possibly looking into a pickleball court to be placed at Crystal Lake Park.

The Board approved a building permit to Taylor Semingson for a new house on First St.

The Board also discussed some public works items such as getting bids to take down the trees that are too large for vlllage staff, using brown flex seal to help repair the stairs at the playground in Crystal Lake Park and replacing the handicap sign outside the Civic Center. .
