Strum Village Board member announces resignation

STRUM - Trustee Heidenreich has resigned from the Strum Village Board. She announced her resignation during the board's September meeting which took place back on the 14th.

Heidenreich announced she will be moving out of Strum and thus have to leave the board. Her last day as Village Trustee was on Sept. 30, 2020. Strum Village President Dean Boehne will be appointing someone to take her place.

The board agreed to table a building permit for citizen Tricia Thacker until a written request for a variance is submitted.

The board agreed to the purchase discounted arrowheads from Quality Habitat LLC completed the Crystal Lake Beach Project contingent that the weed killer with not affect them.

Board members discussed dealing with junk and unregistered vehicles in town on residential properties and also potential surveying plans for the land where the former elementary school was located. There was also discussion on assisting the Village of Eleva after the retirement of their two employee as they will need to have a licensed operator sign off on reports. The roof repair of the Main St. Wellhouse was also discussed.
