Village of Strum Clerk receives state award

STRUM - Strum Village Clerk was honored at the April meeting of the Strum Village Board on the 10th at the Civic Center for a state award she received.

Michelle Loken was nominated and was chosen for the 2023 Administrative Professional of the Year at the Wisconsin Rural Water Association Technical Conference on April 5th in LaCrosse.

The Board unanimously approved a building permit for Todd Barneson – 524 – First Ave. for a 30’X32’ garage.

The election results were read before the board and discussion was held on various topics such as installing a pickleball court, the annual 4th of July celebration by the Lions Club and where it will take place this year, goose abatement, finishing renovations on the Community Room, the newly built pavilion in Woodland Park, properly grounding street lights for village Christmas decorations and the alley construction project.
