Village of Strum holds caucus, board meeting

STRUM - The Village of Strum held both its village caucus and its regular monthly meeting for January back on the 12th at the Strum Civic Center.

During the village caucus, the three people nominated for three seats on the Village Board, which are two-year terms starting in April, were Luke Hanson, Timothy Schiefelbein and Greg Maki. Both Maki and Hanson are incumbents.

During the regular meeting of the Board, unanimous approval was given to Strum Public Library for a building permit for the solar canopy and to approve the issuance of a CCF credit card with a $500 limit to the Library Director, Dawn Hering. They also decided to get another bid for the roof on the pavilion at Walnut Park.
