Benjamin Yarolimek

Benjamin “Ben” H. Yarolimek, age 80, of Rosemount, passed away August 11, 2016. He was born September 23, 1935.
Letting Go
The angels gathered near your bed,
So very close to you.
For they knew all of the things
That you were going through.
I thought about so many things,
I tightly held your hand.
Oh, how I wished that you were strong and healthy once again.
But your eyes were looking homeward to a place beyond the sky,
Where God will hold you always,
It was time to say goodbye.
I struggled with my selfish thoughts for I wanted you to stay
So we could walk or talk again, like we did - just yesterday.
But God still knows what’s best
And I knew God loved you so.
So I give you my greatest gift: The gift of letting go.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Pearl; siblings, Norman “Butch” Yarolimek and Dorothy Timm; and brother-in-law, Rod Lydon.
He is survived by his loving children, Christine Cabor and Beth (Tim) Riege; grandchildren, Cory, Cassie, Jordan and Cortney; siblings, Audrey Lydon, Dee “Stella” Falk and Linda (John) Oscarson; and sister-in-law, Donna Yarolimek.
A Memorial service was held August 16, 2016, at White Funeral Home Chapel, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Ben’s family hosted a Memorial Gathering in the Rosemount Plaza Community Room on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, following the Memorial Service at the White Funeral Home. www.whitefuneralhomes.com.
