Bruce Hall named Kellogg Fireman of the Year
Congratulations goes out to Bruce Hall, Kellogg Fire Department’s Fireman of the Year 2014.
Voting took place a couple months ago by the 30-member fire department and was kept a surprise until the unveiling of the three-piece concrete bench Saturday night (January 10) at the annual holiday party held at the Pioneer Club. The bench contains a solid bronze plaque and it reads, “FIREMAN OF THE YEAR 2014, BRUCE HALL, KELLOGG, MN FIRE DEPARTMENT.” The bench also contains an aluminum Maltese cross.
According to Chief Jeff Arens, Bruce joined the fire department December 1, 1996. He has also held the position of Training Officer for four years. Bruce is also a member of Kellogg’s First Responders. Bruce and his wife, Bev, own Hall Electric in Kellogg, a well-known, established and respected electrical business.
Bruce and Bev have three married children, Amanda (Brady), Alison (Mitch) and Bruce Jr. (Lisa), and their fourth child, Abigail, is a freshman in college. They also have a granddaughter, Paige, and grandson, Owen.
