Charles ‘Chuck’ E. Holt, 86, formerly of Wabasha

 Charles “Chuck” E. Holt, 86, of Winona, formerly of Wabasha, MN. Passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
 Chuck was born on July 11, 1933 in Shoals, IN to Ora and Ruth (Edwards) Holt. After graduating from high school, Chuck enlisted in the Air Force. He retired from the Air Force as a flight engineer. Chuck went on to be a truck driver, hauling milk, apples and many more items.
 Chuck loved to fish. He was an avid sports fan, taking his son and grandson to many Twins games and TwinsFest. Chuck watched Fox News where he caught up on the day’s current events. Most of all Chuck loved his grandchildren and enjoyed taking care of them.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 44 years, Katie; sons Curtis, Charles Jr. and Jimmie; step-daughter Margie Miller; 13 grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; son Ricky; daughter Claudette; grandsons Alan and Michael Miller; siblings Jerry, Ronald and Maxine.
 A visitation for Chuck will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home. A funeral will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one-hour prior at Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
