Charlotte Ann Polyard, formerly of Wabasha

 Charlotte Ann Polyard passed away on July 3, 2015 at her parents’ home in Wabasha after a short battle with cancer. Charlotte was born April 13, 1959 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to Glen and Mary (Longley) Polyard.
She graduated from Wabasha Kellogg High School in 1977. She was married to Jeffrey Clickner and they had two children and were later divorced. She was later married to Duane Hince and they had two children and were later divorced.
 Charlotte was employed at Holt Title in Rochester. Prior to working at Holt Title, she had been employed at Service Master in Red Wing and the Burkhardt-Roemer VFW Post #4086 in Wabasha, MN.
 Charlotte enjoyed singing at karaoke with her sister and brother. She loved quilting and gardening, and traveling with her family. Charlotte had taken many road trips traveling throughout the United States. Her happiest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren.
 Many would recognize Charlotte for her love of the holidays with her festive jewelry and home decorations. She was also known for her creative gardening skills as well as her ability to never meet a stranger. Charlotte loved to talk with people and get to know their stories.
 Charlotte is survived by her parents, Glen and Mary (Longley) Polyard, her brothers, Steven Polyard, James (Cindy) Polyard, and sister, Karen Polyard, all of Wabasha; one son, David Clickner of Winona, daughters, Charlene Clickner (Brian Plank) of Wabasha, and Carolyn Hince (Ryan Connor) of Brainerd, MN; three granddaughters, Skye, Emma, and Graycie; one grandson, Diego, and step-grandchildren, Noah and Fayth; her niece, Stephanie (Josh) Daley of Tucson, AZ, nephews, Michael (Melissa) Fields of Newport News, VA, and Alex Prather of Wabasha. Charlotte also leaves behind her black lab, Lilly, who was her best friend and faithful companion.
 Charlotte was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leo and Ann (Braun) Longley, paternal grandparents, George and Verna (Sass) Polyard, and her daughter, Courtney Hince.
 Charlotte’s wishes were that her body be donated to the Mayo Clinic for diabetic and cancer research.
 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 15, 2015 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the VFW in Wabasha.
