Dennis Roemer, 67, Cottage Grove

 Dennis Roemer, age 67 of Cottage Grove, MN passed away peacefully Friday, November 27, 2015.
 Dennis was born May 6, 1948 to Donald & Virginia Roemer in Wabasha, Minnesota where he grew up and graduated from St. Felix High School Class of ‘66. Dennis went on to Winona State where he completed his undergraduate degree. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota earning his Masters in Education. Dennis taught at Oakland Junior High in Stillwater for 35 years. He enjoyed his years teaching Art, Debate and coaching Tennis. In 2007 he retired, but continued teacher as a substitute within the District. He also enjoyed spending his time drawing, gardening, reading, working on graphic design and spending time with family and friends.
 He will be deeply missed by his wife of 20 years Ronda; his children Adam (Sarah), Margie (Jeff) Clark, Kim Koehler; grandchildren Tyler, Myah, Elin; sister Carol (Gary) Rice; numerous other relatives, friends and all the people he touched throughout his lifetime.
 A Celebration of Dennis’s life will be held from 4-7 Wednesday, December 9th at Kok Funeral Home - 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN.
