Diane A. Hibbs, 56, formerly of Wabasha

Diane A. Hibbs, age 56, of Pengilly, MN formerly of Wabasha, MN died on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She was born December 13, 1960 in Rochester, the daughter of Curtis and Donna (Voss) Lindberg. She graduated from Rochester High School and later achieved her degree in Graphic Design. She worked for Canadian Pacific Railroad.
Diane was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was an avid lover of all animals and music, with much of her time spent raising her beloved corgi, Cheyenne and cat, Elsa.
Diane is survived by her son, Kerry Hibbs (Kate Albee), New Richmond, WI; granddaughter, Hailey; sisters, DeEtte Lindberg and Charlotte Lindberg Bauer, Hailey, ID; and nieces, Tess, Kit and Rosalie. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Donna Lindberg and sister, Clarice Lindberg.
Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Wabasha with The Reverend David Knox officiating. Interment was at Sioux Valley Cemetery, rural Lakefield, MN. The Abbott Funeral Home of Wabasha was in charge of arrangements. www.abbottfh.com
