Donald J. Burrichter, 76, formerly of Wabasha

Donald J. Burrichter, 76 of Rochester and formerly of Wabasha, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018.
Donald Julius was born April 3, 1942, in Wabasha, MN to Julius and Margaret (Gibson) Burrichter. He graduated from St. Felix High School and St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN with his bachelors degree in accounting. He was formerly married to Mary Tanata and they raised their six children in Rochester. Don honorably served in the US Army, spending two years in Germany. He operated the Donald J. Burrichter Accounting business in Rochester for 35 years.
He is survived by his six children: Catherine Burrichter, Laura Burrichter, Bryan Burrichter, David Burrichter, Lisa (Jim) Bartholome, and Paul Burrichter; seven grandchildren: Brittany, Alicia, Sophia, Samantha, Madison, Austin and Dominic; three siblings: Jim (Sharon) Burrichter, John (Peggy) Burrichter, and Mary Helen Burrichter and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, William.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha, with Rev. Fr. Gregory Parrott officiating. Interment with military honors will be at St. Felix Cemetery, Wabasha. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the church.
