Jean (Eversman) Stopski

 Jean Ellen (Eversman) Stopski, age 68, of Leeton, Missouri, and a native of rural Kellogg, died January 2, 2016 at Windsor Health and Rehab Center in Windsor, Missouri after a two year fight with melanoma. She was born November 17, 1947 in Kellogg, the daughter of Leo and Loretta (Klees) Eversman. Jean was a 1965 graduate of St. Felix High School in Wabasha. She then attended the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis with a concentration in accounting principles. She worked as an accountant for Kraus-Anderson and later Olympic Drywall, both located in Minneapolis.
 She married John Stopski September 26, 1996. Jean and John lived in Prior Lake, MN. He died in 2013.
 Jean loved to decorate her home, especially for the holidays. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed exercising. She loved her grandchildren and she loved spending time them, her family and many friends and her dog, Abby.
 Jean is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Bruce Stimpson, Leeton, MO; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Mullenbach, St. Ansgar, IA, Jan and Roger Wise, Wabasha, MN, Diane Hohberger, Rochester, MN, Marilyn and Tom Crowley, Kellogg, MN, Denise and Mark Jacobs, Plainview, MN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Penny Eversman, Sr., Plainview, MN, Donald Eversman, Kellogg, MN, Mike and Karen Eversman, Plainview, MN, Jim and Judy Eversman, Kellogg, MN, Cindy Eversman, Kellogg, MN; 2 granddaughters, Kayla and Kaitlin; one grandson, Carter; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, Leo and Loretta Eversman, brother, Tim Eversman, brothers-in-law, Noel Hohberger and Duane “Snorkie” Mullenbach and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Eversman and Mary Eversman.
 Family and friends may call at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Conception, rural Kellogg, on Sunday April 17, 2016 from 4-7pm. A prayer service will then commence at 7pm with Deacon John Hust officiating. Interment will be Monday, April 18, 2016 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family prefers memorials.
