Marion M. A. ‘Wagner’ Smith, 79, Minneiska

 Marion M. A. (Wagner) Smith, age 79, of Minneiska, went to be with the Lord early Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Golden Living East in Rochester where she had resided the past few months. She was born November 9, 1938 in Mount Vernon Township of Winona County, the daughter of Adolph and Margaret (Wischow) Wagner. Marion worked at Crenlo in Rochester, Uni-Patch in Wabasha, the Altura Turkey Plant and her last employment was at Golden Plump in Arcadia.
 She was a very caring person and she had unconditional love for her family, friends and her dogs. She was always willing to share what she had and she never held a grudge towards anyone. She enjoyed the company of her family and many friends. She had a good sense of humor which was with her until the end of her life. Marion will be missed greatly by her family and friends and the memory of her will be treasured by them forever.
 Marion is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John and Jennifer Wagner, Colorado Springs, CO; grandson, Steven Wagner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene Schultz, Minneiska, MN, Mary Lou and Doug Moen, Wabasha, MN, Victor Funk, Auburn, KS; nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Margaret Wagner, brothers, David, Dale and Donald Wagner and sister, Shirley Funk.
 A memorial service was held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00am at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha with Pastor David Mohler officiating. Interment followed at Buffalo City Cemetery in Buffalo City, WI. Family and friends called at the funeral home on Monday one hour before the service. The Abbott Funeral Home of Wabasha was in charge of arrangements. www.abbottfh.com
