Phil Rosendales’s Last School Board Meeting: Truth In Taxation, Staying on budget for building renovations, and Strategic Planning.
The School Board met on December 18 at 6 pm at Wabasha-Kellogg School to have a regular meeting that covered several important topics including Truth In taxation, updates on the building project budget, introducing the BetterU consulting firm that will be assisting W-K with achieving a Strategic Plan, as well as honoring Phil Rosendale for his 20 years of service to the Wabasha-Kellogg School District.
Business Manager Kathy Miller gave a presentation for Truth in Taxation to the School Board. Miller said the goal is to ensure transparency and accountability within the school district and community. She spoke on the levy process and what to expect for the 2025 school year.
