Tom Bouquet

Thomas Francis Bouquet, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by many of his loving family on October 6, 2026.
He was born October 23, 1943, in Wabasha to Dr. Bernard and Dorothy Bouquet. Tom was a graduate of St. Felix Catholic High School in Wabasha, MN and went on to study business at Winona State. There he met and married the love of his life, Carol Jean Weibke, on May 20, 1967. Together they shared 59 wonderful years filled with much faith, love family and friends.
Tom was a longtime member of St. Felix Church where he was a daily communicant and dedicated to his church family and Our Loving Savior. Later as his health declined from multiple strokes, Tom and Carol stayed in Ohio to be near his youngest daughter. There he attended Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church daily until he could no longer physically participate. Carol, hospice and many dedicated, loving hands cared for Tom during his last few years in his home until his final days. Joyfully, he remained a daily communicant. His patience, endurance in prayer, and suffering were a witness to all of us. The way Carol tenderly cared for him until the end with love and dedication was beautiful to witness.
Tom, along with being a devoted husband, was a father and grandfather full of extraordinary love for his family. His humble demeanor, great love of Our Lord and passion for His family we attribute to all of our blessings.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his two daughters Ann (Kirk) Lineweaver and Jennifer/J.C (Tom) Birong, nine grandchildren Madeline, Grace (Trey) Boyle, Emma (Thomas) Knoell, Joseph, James (Maria) Birong, Ella, John Paul, Andrew and Tommy. Along with two great- grandchildren expected in spring and ten month old Porter Boyle . Also, his brothers Jim, John and Bernie Bouquet along with sister-in-law’s Jan, Marsha, Sue and Karen. He is preceded in death by his brother Rich, all of whom he adored. Most of all they shared the adventure of life itself with their families. Their parents have also preceded him in death, gave them a gift of love of family, faithfulness, and love. For these virtues we are truly all blessed. We will ALL be forever grateful for the life of Tom Bouquet.
Viewing was held in the Narthex of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Friday, October 9th beginning at 1 p.m. and holy Mass by Father Jonas Shell was at 3 p.m. with reception at 2010 Lakewood Rd Sherrodsville. Also, on Monday, October 12th there was a visitation from 1-3 p.m. at St Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha, MN with funeral Mass held at 3 p.m., burial, and reception to follow in the St. Felix School Gym. All are welcome, and we thank you for your prayers, support, and kind words for dad and our family. God Bless you all, and Eternal Rest and Peace for you dad. We love you:)
