Tony Joseph Tentis, 69, Kellogg

Devoted husband, father and farmer. Tony Joseph Tentis, 69, died August 21, 2018 in a tractor accident while working on his farm.
Tony was born September 20, 1948 in Wabasha to Norman Sr. and Julia (McNallan) Tentis. Raised on the family farm in Cooks Valley just east of Kellogg, MN. He graduated from Wabasha High School in 1967 and continued to work the family farm with his brother. He was married to Kathy (Reicks) on August 14, 1982 in Cresco, IA and they had three children.
Tony was a man with a contagious laugh, quick wit, work ethic and passion for the farm. He had great love for his wife, children and his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his family and community.
He is survived by his wife Kathy. His children Matthew (wife Elise), Seth (wife Tara), and Kelsey (fiancé Gage Kehler). Grandchildren Celia and Odin Tentis, Kinsley Bensen and Hailey Tentis. He has three surviving brothers Larry, Tom (wife Jan) and Norman Jr. (wife Barb).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha, MN from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The funeral was held at Saint Agnes Church in Kellogg, MN on August 27, 2018 at 11:00 am. There was an hour of visitation prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Land Stewardship Project, a local organization dedicated to small family farms, and/or Kellogg Fire Department.
