Weslyn Ann Fleming ‘Concidine’

Weslyn Ann Fleming (née Concidine), 83, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on May 29th, 2025, at her home in Bayside, Wisconsin. Born August 31st, 1941, to Wesley and Eleanor Concidine in Wabasha, MN, she is survived by her husband, Thomas Fleming; her sons Robert Fleming (Shannon Dailey), Wes Fleming (Elizabeth Fleming), and Michael Fleming (Kimberly Bell), all of Milwaukee; her grandchildren Danielle Fleming (Chicago, IL), 1LT Wes Fleming (Fort Carson, CO), Jake Fleming (Chicago), and Ava Fleming (Seal Beach, CA); and by her brother James Concidine and sister Mary Andersen (both of Tucson, AZ). Weslyn graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1962, and lived for a time in southern California before returning to the Midwest, where she taught at Walker Junior High School in Milwaukee, and worked for Wisconsin Electric. It was there that fate and luck conspired to introduce Weslyn to Tom, the man who would become her loving and devoted husband of nearly fifty years, and who describes her as “the best wife, the best mother, the best friend and cohort, and the best partner in life that anyone will ever have.”An equally loving and devoted wife, committed homemaker, and cherished mother and grandmother, Weslyn will be missed dearly for her wit, wisdom, and intuition, and for the thoughtful, charismatic, and compassionate manner in which she shared these gifts — and countless others — with those she loved. Her resilience and perspective, her fastidiousness and generosity, and her joy, understanding, and steadfast moral compass live on in her children and grandchildren, and in the lasting legacy of service, strength, courage, and love that she instilled therein, and inspired in so many. Visitation hours will be held at Fox Point Lutheran Church (Fox Point, WI), where she was a long-time congregant, on Monday, July 7th, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m, with services to follow.
