Arlene Freng

Arlene May Freng, 87, of Osseo, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Wausau Manor in Wausau.
Arlene was born April 24, 1929 in Osseo to Ralph and Josephine (Alseth) Herman.
Arlene married Milan Freng on November 6, 1948 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. Together they farmed in the Town of Sumner, Trempealeau County until 1980 when they moved to Osseo.
Arlene is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Spangberg of Wausau; two grandsons, Brian (Diane) Spangberg of Rib Mountain and Andrew Spangberg of Wausau; four great grandchildren, Miranda Spangberg, Erich Spangberg, Zachery Comfort and Isaac Comfort; one sister, Mary (Joseph) Rindal of Strum. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Milan, a brother Elmer and a sister Janice Bruin.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends could call from 10:00 to 11:00 am Wednesday at the church.
