Dean Lantz

Dean Joseph Lantz, 49, of Eau Claire, died Monday at his home.
Dean was born April 28, 1967 in Eau Claire to Jerome and Dawn (Larson) Lantz. He graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School.
Dean married Karie Koutney on November 7, 1995 in Eau Claire.
Through the years Dean worked at Ashley Furniture, Menards and Crusts Unlimited in Osseo. Recently he owned a landscape and snow removal business in Eau Claire.
Dean loved spending time with his family camping and supported them in 4-H and scouting. He enjoyed time outdoors and working on cars.
Dean is survived by his children, Joseph Lantz of Eau Claire, Breanna Lantz of Eau Claire, William (Rosie) Kasputis of Eau Claire, Nathan Kasputius of Eau Claire and Angelina (Ernest) Schnook of Eau Claire; his mother Dawn Lantz of Osseo; 6 brothers, David Lantz of Altoona, Dallas (Cindy) Lantz of Eau Claire, Donald Lantz (Ellen Litchfield) of Dodge, Dale Lantz of Independence, DuWayne (Billie) Lantz of Fairchild and Darrell Lantz (Chris Hale) of Osseo; 4 sisters, Darlene (Daniel) Walde of Eleva, Doreen (Steven) Myers of Eau Claire, Denise (Craig) Potter of Foster, Diane Lantz of Mound House, NV; aunt Madelyn Lantz of Eau Claire; 4 grandchildren.
Dean was preceded in death by his father Jerome and a sister Donna.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Foster. Rev. Dale Horner will be officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
Friends may call from 4-7 pm, Sunday at Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo. Friends may also call from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church on Monday.
