Local 4-H appoints new officers

The Russell Corner Badgers installed the 2014-15 officers at their annual club banquet held on Nov. 7 at Grace Lutheran Church in Augusta. 

Members received a Certificate of Achievement as well as their premium checks for their fair projects. The graduating 4-H members were recognized and awarded a plaque. Those members included Kevin Welke, Desyre Klindworth and Kerry Stensen.

Presentations were given by Deslyn Hart and Abby Groell about their trip to Washington D.C., Dylan Klindworth spoke about the State 4-H Conference held in Madison and Holly Groell talked about the 7th grade trip to Milwaukee.

4-H is the nation’s largest youth development and empowerment organization which is geared to give confidence and leadership skills to kids to tackle issues in their communities and around the world. Over six million kids are involved in the 4-H program in the United States.
