Larry Quarberg
Larry A. Quarberg, age 70, of Sevierville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4, 2019, at his home.
He was born August 25, 1949, in Wabasha, MN, the son of Martin & Marjorie (Cleasby) Quarberg of Nelson, WI. He was baptized at Lyster Lutheran Church, Nelson, WI.
Larry graduated from Alma High School in 1967. While working on the farm, he also worked for Anchor Inn Restaurant as a chef in Wabasha, MN. He worked on the farm and Anchor Inn until 1972 when he moved to Eau Claire to work at Holiday Inn.
He married Sandi Martin on September 14, 1974. They resided in Eau Claire for many years until they moved to Chetek, WI, where they operated their Bed & Breakfast “Sweet Dreams” until they retired and moved to Tennessee.
Larry loved music and dancing the polka and many other old time dances with Sandi. He loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed entertaining. Larry also loved antiques and antique cars. Larry enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and grand-nieces/nephews and always made get-togethers special.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sandi of 45 years; his sister, Linda (Doug) Wilson of Volcano, Hawaii; brothers: Marcus (Nancy) Quarberg, Alma, WI; Jerald (Pam) Quarberg, Nelson, WI; Jan (Carol) Quarberg, Nelson, WI; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral Services will be at First United Methodist Church, Sevierville, Tennesse, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
