Antoinette F. Pinkowski, RN February 14, 2026 
Antoinette F. Pinkowski, RN (Toni) entered God’s embrace on February 14, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends. Antoinette was preceded in death by her loving husband Vernon. Loving mother of Mark (Andria), Sandi and Timothy (Mary.) Loving sister of Robert (Elizabeth) who preceded her in death and Jordyce (Otto.)   
Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. All these and many more will remember the best of times at the Fishtrap Lake cottages, the Highbridge farm and their Durand home. Toni loved all these adventures especially putting together amazing meals for whoever might show up for scheduled and impromptu visits which were many.  
After graduating from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Milwaukee WI, Toni had a long career as a Registered Nurse serving patients in Orthopedics, Burn Unit, Pediatrics, GU Oncology, Polio Clinic and Special Needs Children. As the family moved, Toni’s career continued as a County Public Health and School Nurse in Northern and Central Wisconsin. Toni loved her work in the community, finally retiring from nursing at 82. 
Toni loved all creatures great and small, applying her nursing skill to whatever animals were in need of care.  
Toni was active in her church throughout her life playing the organ and singing in the choir well into her 80’s. Toni will be remembered for her warm smile and welcoming way, her love of nature, unending curiosity and love of her family and friends.  
The family is grateful to St. Croix Health Center and Lakeview Hospice for the kind and loving care provided.   
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am, Friday March 6, 2026 at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Durand, Wisconsin with Father Emmanuel Asamoah-Bekoe as the celebrant. Burial will be in the Church cemetery with Wisconsin Nurses Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of services at the Church on Friday.
