Gary Roland Lindstrom

Gary Roland Lindstrom, age 75, of Durand, WI passed away Saturday morning, January 25, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Osseo, WI. He was born February 29, 1944   in Urne, WI; son of Victor and Evelyn (Johnson) Lindstrom.
He was raised on the family farm in Urne. He attended grade school in Urne and graduated from Durand High School. Following graduation he joined the United States Navy. After returning from the Navy, Gary went to work on the family farm with his dad and uncle. On May 7, 1966 Gary married Diane Zell. Later on Gary and his brothers formed Breezy Point Farms.
Gary served on many boards, AMPI Dairy Board, Maxville Town Board, Lyster Lutheran Church Council and NTEC Telephone Board. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, camping, hunting and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lindstrom of Durand,WI; daughter, Amy Lindstrom (Mark) of Mondovi, WI; granddaughter, Halle Thomas; sisters, Karen (Sam) Schroeder of Pepin, WI, Janet (Lyle) Pelke of Colfax, WI; brother, Randy (Becky) Lindstrom of Durand, WI; sister-n-law, Julie Lindstrom of Alma, WI; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Lindstrom; brother, Steven Lindstrom.
Memorial services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Lyster Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Vetsch officiating. Burial with Military Honors was in the church cemetery. Friends called from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
