Irene “Schuh” Eide

Irene L. (Schumacher) Schuh “Eide” age 95 of Durand, WI & Springfield, IL, died Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Irene was born on August 23, 1926 to Myrtle (Lammo) & Robert Schumacher, born at home in Buffalo County.
Irene went to grade school at Lowes Spring Creek School and High School at Union Free School in Nelson, Class of 1944.
She married Leonard Schuh on January 30, 1945, they had nine children, later divorced. She married Richard Eide and had one more baby.
She is survived by her children; Nancy Helgason, Adams, WI’ Janet Martin, Mondovi, Steven (Audrey) Schuh, Racine, WI, Wayne (Karen) Schuh of Mukwonago, WI, Pamela (John Amuzu) Schuh, Mequon, WI, Kevin Schuh, Springfield, IL, Karen Downey (Eide), Sherman, IL; 24 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kurt Schuh; daughters, Susan Hinds, Marilyn Schuh; grandsons, Dale Schultz, Jr., Faraji Alothman; sons-in-law, Jim Helgason, Ken Martin; daugther-in-law, Carolyn Schuh.
Burial will be at the Lima Cemetary on June 10, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Emmanuel Asamoah Bekoe.
