Rylan Brion Haremza
Rylan Brion Haremza, 13, of Altoona, Wisconsin, passed away tragically on October 13, 2026, alongside his beloved mother, Amanda “Mandi”; his grandmother, Mary; and his aunt, Kayla.
Born on March 1, 2013, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Rylan brought immeasurable joy to his loving parents, Mandi (Brion) and Lee Haremza, his older brother, Keegan and his younger brother, Caysen.
He began his education in the Altoona School District before continuing at Regis Middle School, where his outgoing personality and infectious spirit helped him form countless friendships.
From the very beginning, Rylan had a spirit that was impossible to contain and a personality that was impossible to forget. Rylan was full of energy, adventure, and life.
He was fearless, always ready for the next challenge, and never one to sit still for long. Whether he was skiing, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, wrestling, or playing football, Rylan was happiest when he was on the go, doing what he loved and making the most of every moment. He had a wild side filled with jumping from things he shouldn’t have and a natural athletic ability that shone through in everything he did.
He approached life with an enthusiasm that was contagious and a determination that made him stand out.
With his handsome face, unforgettable smile, and larger-than-life personality, Rylan had a way of lighting up every room he entered. He naturally drew people in, not because he demanded attention, but because his energy made him someone everyone wanted to be around. Rylan was simply one of those kids who left an impression on everyone he met.
Above all, Rylan was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was deeply loved by his family and surrounded by friends who cherished his adventurous spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.
Rylan is survived by his loving father, Lee; his older brother, Keegan; his younger brother, Caysen; his grandparents, Michelle and Austin Parenteau; his aunt, Tonya Haremza; his uncle, Michael “Mikey” Haremza; grandfather, Dave Brion; his aunt, Katie Willis (Jeff) and their daughters, Kahlen and Ashlee; his uncle, Quincy Turpin and his children, Ellis and Emerson “Emmy”; and an extended family and countless friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
Rylan is preceded in death by his grandfather Patrick (“Rastus”) Haremza and other extended family.
The loss of Rylan is beyond words. There is no way to measure the heartbreak of losing a boy with so much life ahead of him, so many adventures still to experience, and so much more love to give.
Rylan lived with a spirit larger than life. He will be forever remembered as the fearless, fun-loving, adventurous kid who lit up every room and touched more hearts than he could ever have known. He will be deeply missed. His life was far too short, but the memories he created and the spirit with which he lived with will never fade.
