David J. Piechowski

David J. Piechowski, age 83, of Buffalo City, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Winona Health.
David was born on April 5, 1938, in Bluff Siding, WI, to Sylvester and Eleanor (Jereczek) Piechowski. He was united in marriage with Sandra Williams on January 29, 1959, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage.
He was employed with Winona Industries, and then for many years as an engineer for Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, WI, until his retirement. David loved the many travels of his job while at Ashley, which took him all over the world.
David was a member of the Lion’s Club and served as an alderman for the City of Buffalo City. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer and duck hunting, ice fishing, and he was proud to have obtained licenses for scuba diving and as a pilot.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Sandra; children: Kim (Nick) Serjogins, Nikki Marco, and Robin (James) Schlegel; grandsons: Branden, Nicholas, and Mitchell (Kendra); great-grandchildren: Alexis, Nicholas, Nathan, and Hutson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Leon and Geraldine Piechowski, and Robert and Carol Piechowski.
A prayer service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia Street in Winona, with visitation following the service until 6 PM. The Reverend Jon Spinillo of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Winona will officiate.
The family respectfully asks that memorials be directed to the Scenic Valley Ambulance Service in Cochrane, WI.
