The Lady Panthers traveled to Plum City to face Elmwood/Plum City on Monday, Nov. 23, in search of their first win. The Elmwood/Plum City Wolves came out strong with a deep bench and full court pressure. The Panthers once again became flustered and turned the ball over too many times. At halftime the score was 49-22 and the final score was 87-31 in favor of the Wolves.

Junior Jordyn Bloom led Gilmanton with 10 points followed by senior Julia Branger with eight. Bloom also led in rebounds with six and steals with two. Freshman Kaitlyn Johnson and Branger each contributed two assists.

Though the Lady Panthers are still on the hunt for their first victory of the 2015-16 season, the squad is seeing gradual improvement. They are excited to start conference play on Tuesday, Dec. 1, against Eleva-Strum at home. They will also play at Eau Claire Immanuel on Friday, Dec. 4.
