Mondovi wrestling drops dual to tough SV/E squad, competes at conference challenge meet

The Mondovi wrestling team hosted Spring Valley/Elmwood for a dual meet on Tuesday, Feb. 3, resulting in a 68-12 loss for the Buffaloes.
Winning wrestlers for Mondovi were 106-pound Autumn Washok and 113-pounder Austin Fedie.
The squad also participated in the Big Rivers Conference/Dunn-St. Croix Conference Challenge in River Falls on Saturday, Feb. 7. The Buffaloes placed 10th as a team.
Nick Pelke (106 pounds), 126-pounder Trevor Hurt and 138-pounder Brett Larson placed sixth individually. Trevor Giedd (132 pounds) placed fourth and Fedie took third in his weight class.
The wrestlers will now travel to Boyceville for regional tournament action on Saturday, Feb. 14. Wrestling begins at 10:30 a.m.
