Robert John Weisenbeck
Robert John Weisenbeck, 85, of Beloit, Wis., passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Alden Meadow Nursing Home, in Clinton, Wis.
He was born June 29, 1933, in Buffalo County, to Frank and Grace (Simpson) Weisenbeck, of Durand, WI. He married Henrietta Ruehl on November 28, 1959 in Beloit, Wis.
Robert served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked for many years as an electrician and retired from Warner-Lambert Electric after 20 plus years of service. He was a member of Central Christian Church and volunteered with prison ministries under the Bill Glass program.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta of Beloit, Wis.; three daughters, Dea Weisenbeck of Kankakee, Ill., Jill (Steve) Lamb of Beloit, Wis., and Linda Francis of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren and one great-grand child. Also surviving are six siblings, Lorena (Robert) Weiss of Eau Claire, Francis Weisenbeck of Eau Claire, Ray (Joan) Weisenbeck of Holcomb, Tony (Wilma) Weisenbeck of Durand, Mona (Kingston) Troensegaard of Fishersville, Va., Lois (Joe Atteln) Machotka of West Salem, Wis.; sister-in-law, Mary Weisenbeck of Peoria, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John; sister-in-law, Nancy Weisenbeck; son-in-law, Jason Francis.
Funeral services were held at Rosman Funeral Home, in Beloit, on May 17, at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in Eastlawn Cemetery.
