Ruth LaDuke

Mom completed her journey on April 23, 2016 at the age of 89, after a brief illness.
She was born in Buffalo County, Wis. on Jan. 3, 1927, to Fred and Myrtle (Rose) Clark.  After high school, she traveled to the west coast to work at Boeing during WW II. She returned and married Oliver “Sing” LaDuke, migrating to Racine in 1951, where she lived out her life working in manufacturing and retiring from Multi Products.
Ruth is survived by her son, Barry LaDuke; daughter-in-law, Renee LaDuke; granddaughter, Nicole LaDuke; best friend, Judy Spang; the coffee gang at McDonald’s and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her spouse; her parents; siblings, Margaret Engler, Alice Jonas, Hazel Helwig and Donald Clark.
Mom always put her family and friends before herself and was always ready to help and embodied the spirit and example of unconditional love. She will be missed.
A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Aurora Healthcare and Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.
Memorials to Hospice Alliance would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences may be expressed at sturinofuneralhome.com.
