Daryl Richard Mickow

Daryl Richard Mickow, 56, of Hammond, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 30, 2021, while visiting family in Kelliher, MN. He was born June 9, 1964, in Rochester to Richard and Bonnie (Mattison) Mickow. He attended school in Rochester at Northrup Elementary, Kellogg Junior High, and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1983.

Daryl was employed by Larson Siding of Rochester for several years, and most recently was employed at Heartland Tire Company in Rochester. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hammond.

Daryl is survived by his parents, Richard and Bonnie Mickow of Rochester; a sister, Sheryl (Jerry) Mickow-Hippe of Kelliher, MN; two nieces and a nephew, Shawn (Jeremy) Jensen of Plainview, Chad (Stephanie Hauschildt) Domke of Zumbro Falls, and Mickel (Jeremy) Thompson of Mantorville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel with Pastor Dale Kohrs officiating. Burial will follow the service at Elgin Cemetery in Elgin. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
