Marianne Kraus Zickrick

Marianne Kraus Zickrick passed away on February 3, 2021 at Long Beach , California.
She was born on December 17, 1937 to Francis and Winnifred Lee Kraus at home near Theilman, MN.
She attended country school near the farm, then graduated from Plainview High School
In 1955. She attended the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis.
On July 18, 1958 she married Gerald Zickrick in Duluth, MN. They later divorced.
Two daughters were born to them, Lael and Loriene. Lael preceded her mother in death on March 27, 2011.
Marianne was employed at Orange County DCFS from 1989 until the time of her passing.
She is survived by her daughter Loriene (Eric) Marx, two grandsons Jason and Cameron, two great granddaughters, Isabella and Rosalyn, one brother, Gerald (Nancy) Kraus , a sister-in-law Luanne Kraus, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lael, brother Bill Kraus and many special cousins.
A celebration of the life of Marianne will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the Plainview American Legion
