Jeffery Walter Kling

Jeffery Walter Kling, age 65 of Hixton passed away peacefully at his home on May 7th, 2021.

He was born on January 10th, 1956 in Whitehall Wisconsin the son of Robert and Edith (Lippert) Kling. Jeff was a graduate of Taylor High School Class of 1974. He married Debra Waldera (Olson) In April of 1988, they later divorced. Jeff grew up on the family farm in rural Taylor,

Jeff was never one to back down from hard work, he started his journey in Farm equipment repair, buying, and selling. Jeff spent all of his working life as a mechanic for several different implement companies, and 20 of those years were working as a mechanic at Ashley furniture.

Jeff loved to talk whether on the phone or in person. Jeff was the best at finding a deal on farm machinery anywhere in tri-state area. If Jeff were to travel down a road once he never forgot how to get back there. Jeff was a culinarily master in his whites, He enjoyed spending time in his garden during the summer. Family was a priority and always valued spending time with his family. He was very proud of his children and always encouraged them to do what they loved.

Jeff had a love and passion of agriculture; he had an infinite knowledge of farm equipment. He turned his life-long dream into reality by starting and operating ABJ Sales, Jeff was never happier then when he was working the business with his family.

Surviving Jeff are his mother Edith Kling; his brothers Thomas, Steven (Patricia), and David (Treasa); his sister Karen (Tim) Yeskie; his 5 children (Stepson) Travis Pyka, Allen, Rebecca (Scott) Rachu, Maureen, and Barry; his grandchildren Aaron, Brody, Brycen, Ryan, and Richard; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Kling; his grandparents Walter & Charlotte Kling, and Sam & Elma Lippert.

Funeral Services for Jeffrey will be Saturday May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Lutheran Church, 111 Church Street in Taylor WI. Pastor Natalie Leske will officiate. Friends may call on the family during Visitations, Friday May 14, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, 128 N. Hoffman St. in Hixton WI., or Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church in Taylor one hour before the service begins. Burial will follow the service at French Creek Cemetery, (off Young Rd., 3 miles North off Co Rd. C, turn left for ¼ mile at first stop sign or go South on Co. Rd. X off County Rd. P to intersection with Young Rd.). A Celebration of Life and luncheon will follow the services at the Homestead Country Retreat, W15300 Relyea Lane.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials directed to the family may be sent to the Funeral Home. The Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home 128 N Hoffman St., in Hixton WI is serving the family, (715) 963-2311.
