Strum holds Village Board meeting for August

STRUM - The Village Board of Strum held its August meeting back on the 16th.

A second pay request from McCabe Construction in the amount of $313,413.55 for the street project was unanimously approved by the board.

A flexible time-off request to pay Brad Olson for the hours accumulated from helping the Village of Eleva instead of putting towards comp. hours was also unanimously approved by the board.

The board scheduled the village's first reading of 2022 Budget to be acted on at the Nov. 8th regular board meeting with the public hearing on it scheduled for Nov. 29th at 6:30 p.m.

It was announced at the meeting that an event sponsored by Rod & Gun Club on Oct. 23rd called Hoot & Howl will take place. This will consist of spooky trails, concession stand, games and bake sale. The board is in favor of the event.
