Carly M. Wilson, 41, Wabasha

Carly M. Wilson, 41 of Wabasha, passed away November 20 2020.
Carly Marie was born February 8, 1979, in Wabasha to Dennis and Susan (Thornton) Wilson. She graduated from Wabasha Kellogg High School and attended Southeast MN Technical College, Winona, MN.
She was currently employed at Wabasha Auto Body. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities and grooming her plants. Carly was always very open hearted and open minded, she loved learning new things that could help those around her. Through compassion she would always open her door to lend a helping hand to those in need. Over the years she had many pets and loved spending time with them, she loved taking her dog for drives through the countryside and being in nature with them. She will always be loved and remembered by those around as a free spirit who was brave and courageous in any situation.
She is survived by her mom, Susan (Joel) Ernst; dad, Dennis Wilson; brother Nick Wilson; maternal grandmother Millie Getschmann and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Otto Getschmann; and paternal grandparents Clifford and Elizabeth Wilson.
A visitation will be 2 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Abbott Funeral Home, Wabasha. There will be a private memorial service.
