LeRoy G. Senne

LeRoy G. Senne, 90 of Wabasha, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Gundersen – St. Elizabeth’s Assisted Living, Wabasha, MN.
LeRoy George was born February 28, 1931, in Fairmont, MN to Louis and Frieda (Hein) Senne and he graduated from Fairmont High School. On October 28, 1950, he married Vivian F. Grieman in Blue Earth, MN. Together they raised six children: Linda, Louann, Loren, Lynn, Lorraine, and Larry. The family lived in various communities throughout Southern Minnesota. The couple moved to rural Wabasha in 1991. Vivian passed away December 28, 2009.
LeRoy was an over the road truck driver. He was employed at various companies and, also owned and operated his own truck. He drove through all 48 continuous states but did not make it to Alaska or Hawaii. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha.
He is survived by his children: Linda (Jim Holt) Polencheck; Louann Senne; Lynn (Tammy) Senne; Lorraine Njos; and Larry Senne; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a sister Delores Waterbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Vivian; son Loren Senne; a sister Bernice Harris and a brother Roland Senne.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha, with Rev. David Knox officiating. Masks are required in the church facility. Interment will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
