Patricia J. “Pat” Dahl

Patricia J. “Pat” Dahl, 88, of Wabasha, formerly of Rochester, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Hospital La Crosse Campus. She was born August 27th, 1936, on a farm in Cherry Grove Township, Goodhue County, MN to parents Edwin and Alma (Auseth) Bosshart. Pat started at the country school before her family moved to Austin. She played the flute in junior and senior high playing in the marching band and orchestra. She graduated from Austin High School in 1954. Pat worked at Hormel as a transcriptionist starting in High School up until the time she was married. She married Richard (Dick) Dahl on June 8th, 1957 in Austin, MN. They celebrated nearly 60 years together before his passing in 2017. The couple moved to Rochester, MN in 1960 where they raised their family. Pat worked for Mayo Clinic for 26 years in the business office, she started at Rochester Methodist Hospital admissions. Pat was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Wabasha; she worked as secretary at the church after her retirement. She enjoyed doing crafts, bowling (especially trips with her team to tournaments), sailing, boating and spending time with her family and friends at their home on the Mississippi River. She always looked forward to hosting family and friends for gatherings and events like the Dahl Open golf
tournament. She is survived by her loving children and spouses, Robert “Bob” and Kim Dahl, Albuquerque, NM, Susan “Sue” and Randy Christensen, Wabasha, MN, Donald “Don” Dahl, Winona, MN: six grandchildren, Dylan, Tanner, Madison and Logan Dahl and Jack and Emma Christensen; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-inlaw, Arlene and Ben Bednar, Brother, Wayne Bosshart, sister- in-law and brother-in-law, Bev and Joe Carlisano, nephew and niece, Joe Carlisano Jr and Lisa Carlisano. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 17 at Faith Lutheran Church (905 Hiawatha Dr. East, Wabasha, MN). Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at Faith Lutheran. Interment will be held later at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Austin, MN. The family prefers memorials to Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha Ambulance Service, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
