Richard ‘Rick’ Lee Theuner

Richard Lee Theuner, age 56, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St Marys Campus after a short battle with lung cancer.
Rick was born on April 11, 1964 in Rochester, MN to Ralph and Barbara (Nickelson) Theuner. He graduated in 1982 at Mayo High School. He started and owned Mississippi Valley Construction and continued on in the construction business until death. He was an active member of Carpenters Union 1382.
Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, car races, and going to the casino. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and special friend Lori Salah and sons.
Rick is survived by his mother, Barbara Theuner; brothers, Jeff and Mark (Kelly); sister, Sandy Hameister; 2 nieces, Bonnie and Pressley; 3 nephews, Craig, Kyle and Tyler; godparent, Allyn (Kay) Wachholz; aunts and uncles; and his dog, Lucy.
Rick is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Theuner; and special aunt and uncle, Marj and Gene Lamey.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
