Attendees were welcomed by Lauren Stumpf, WK senior and member of the student council, and she expressed gratitude on behalf of the WK students for the veterans and the opportunity for WK to host the program.
American Legion Commander, Catherine Gallenberger, opened the program with a welcome to all attendees and especially the veterans who were present. Her comments are elsewhere on this page.
Air Force veteran, Laura Swartout, was the keynote speaker, sharing a rich history of women’s contributions to the military since the Revolutionary War.
