Arkansaw Elementary School to be closed within next two years

The Durand School Board has decided that Arkansaw Elementary School will be closed within the next two years, depending on the outcome of the referendum. If the referendum passes in April, students will stay at AES for the 2015-16 school year to allow for construction at Caddie Woodlawn. If it fails, however, students will be moved to Caddie Woodlawn this fall.
