E-S runners compete at conference meet

On Thursday, Oct. 15, the Eleva-Strum cross country team traveled to Cochrane-Fountain City for the Dairyland conference meet. Out of 54 runners, Evan Seguin placed fourth with a time of 18:03. He also made first team all-conference. Isaiah Loewenhagen placed 44th out of 54 with a time of 22:25 followed by Logan Odell in 50th with a time of 24:33. Last but not least coming in a little less than a minute behind Odell was Ben Krochmalski with a time of 25:13 and placing 52nd.
In the girls’ race, Annabelle Vikingson placed 34th out of 39 runners with a time of 30:06.
The team will compete in the sectional meet at Boyceville this Saturday, Oct. 24.
