Henry Hacker

Henry E. Hacker, 83, of Eau Claire, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Clearwater Care Center, Eau Claire.
He was born on June 3, 1935, the son of Henry and Ruth (Lawler) Hacker. Henry married Betty M. Jaqish on Dec. 28, 1974, and they were able to share 44 years together. He worked several jobs, which included at Shopko, Kmart and the Eau Claire Senior Center. In his retirement, Betty and Henry helped to care for their granddaughter, Shiloh. Henry was a former member of the Eau Claire Moose Lodge and of the Epiphany Lutheran Church and Our Saviors Church. He took pride in keeping a well manicured yard but, especially enjoyed his time he spent with his granddaughter.
Henry will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty; daughter, Mitzie (Tom) Peterson; granddaughter, Shiloh; nieces and nephews; other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Mondovi Chapel, on Friday, April 5, at 11 a.m., with an hour visitation prior to the service.
