Lady Panthers finish season with regional quarterfinal loss to Augusta

On Thursday, Oct. 20, the Gilmanton volleyball team traveled to Augusta to face the top-seeded Beavers. The Beavers came out strong and never let down. The Panthers lost 3-0 to end their season. Scores were: 8-25, 13-25, and 9-25. 

Paige Lieberman and Paige DeWitt both had two kills apiece. Jordyn Bloom had five assists. Lieberman also contributed one service ace. Julia Branger, Rachel Hovey, Paige Lieberman, Jordyn Bloom, and Hailey Bork all had 100 percent serving. Branger led in digs with eight, followed by Bloom with five. 

Augusta went on and beat Blair-Taylor and Elmwood to take the regional title. 

The Lady Panthers would like their families, fans and supporters to know how much they appreciate everything they have done for them this season. The Panthers finished 1-9 in the Dairyland Conference.
