Lenore Heinemann

Lenore Jeanette Wright Heinemann, 90, of Strum, died on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at her home.
She was born on May 19, 1927, in Gilmanton, the daughter of Sam and Cora Ulness. She grew up in the Gilmanton area and graduated from Gilmanton High School. Lenore married Walter Wright in January of 1947. They farmed in the Mondovi area all of their married life and also raised their three children there. While living in Mondovi, she was a member of Central Lutheran Church and very involved with its groups. She was also a member of the Mondovi American Legion and Auxiliary and served on several offices in these organizations.
Walter passed away on May 11, 1963. On April 30, 1966, she married George Heinemann and moved to Strum, where George was Superintendent of Schools. Lenore purchased and ran the Strum Beverage Mart for several years.
Mother will be missed beyond words. She was the foundation of our family and the example she set of how to live life with grace, integrity and strength will live on with us forever. Rest in Peace—We love you.
Lenore will be sadly missed by her children, Robert (Mary) Wright of Naperville, Ill., Rita Kaiser of Weatherford, Texas, Richard (Debbie) Wright of Strum; nine grandchildren, Kari Orrender, Cory (Jennifer) Wright, Jill (Jeff) Moore, Scott Kaiser, Jennifer (Aaron) Larson, Jon Wright, Jadyn Jensen, and Jason and Joel Trier; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Salava and Ruth Boeser; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter and George; son-in-law, Ron Kaiser; brother, Donnie Ulness; brothers-in-law, Dick Salava, Floyd Boeser, LaVern Wright, Chuck Wright and Gene Rice; sisters-in-law, Irma Wright, Kate Steinke and Dorothy Ulness.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum, with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverside Lutheran Cemetery, Mondovi, following the lunch.
A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum.
