Buffaloes drop Homecoming game to Unity

Senior Sawyer Hayes battled through the middle of the defense in the second quarter.

Junior Boe Olson looked for running room on a kick return.

Senior Garrett Kees notched a big gain for the Buffaloes. Kees scored two touchdowns in the game and racked up 131 yards on 24 carries.

Senior Sawyer Hayes turned to catch a pass thrown by quarterback Greg Poeschel. Hayes and Poeschel connected three times for 41 yards as Mondovi hosted Unity in the Homecoming game on Friday night, Oct. 9.

Mondovi senior Austin Fedie ran in the two-point conversion as the Buffaloes took an 8-6 lead over Unity in the first quarter.
