Eleva-Strum football secures back-to-back co-conference championship titles with win over Pirates

Junior quarterback Jedediah Lorenz slipped between a C-FC defender and a pylon to put E-S up 31-0 to close out the third quarter.

Junior Quinn Olson found a hole in the C-FC defense for a big gain in the third quarter. Olson scored three touchdowns against the Pirates and ran for 184 of the Cardinals’ 399 yards as a team.

Mitchell Hong scampered 65-yards to the goal line in the fourth quarter to help E-S stretch its lead back to 30 points in the final period.

Jake Matchey (12) and Cade Kunferman (10) brought down C-FC’s Conner Turnbell.

Taking over quarterback duties late in the game, sophomore Drew Severson found an opening up the middle.

Junior Dustyn Topper wove his way through the C-FC defense. Topper racked up 114 yards in the game.
