Mondovi bloodmobile features new partnership, reminders of the continual need for blood donors

Sporting a red bandage on his left arm, Dave Parr donated at the recent Mondovi bloodmobile. Parr has served as a regular donor at Mondovi bloodmobile events for over 50 years and will have given 14 gallons altogether the next time he donates blood.

Korrina Bauer chatted with an American Red Cross worker as she finished up donating blood for the eighth time. The bloodmobile, held July 12, was scheduled to see about 36 donors.

Mark McDonough grilled more hot dogs for hungry bloodmobile attendees to dig into after donating. McDonough volunteered at the drive on behalf of his employer, Suburban Propane, which is partnering with the Red Cross for its summer blood drive campaign.

Blood donors Larry Johnston, Jackie Spoo and Dennis Brion enjoyed the spread of snacks available at the drive, including the hot dogs grilled up by Mark McDonough (left).
