‘Shamrock Shuffle’ set for March 16

A new city sign on the north side of Mondovi adjacent to Hwy. 37 welcomes visitors with a buck backed by a depiction of Buffalo County bluff lands. An outpouring of support at last year’s “Shamrock Shuffle” funded a Mondovi Business Association effort to work with local artist Julio Altamirano in creating four new city welcome signs that were recently installed.

Three aging signs at city entrance points were replaced and one new sign (pictured) was added on Mondovi’s east side along U.S. Hwy. 10 thanks to 2016 “Shamrock Shuffle” funds. This year’s “Shuffle” in downtown Mondovi is set for March 16 from 5 - 8 p.m. and will seek to help fund improvements at Mirror Lake Park.
