Eleva Village Board approves several CUPs

ELEVA - The Eleva Village Board approved several Conditional Use Permits (CUPs) during its February meeting held Feb. 9 at the Village Hall.

Approved CUPs included one for Ed & Christie Rosenquist, Chimney Rock Rd. for renewing a kennel license. Approved 4-1 with the lone dissenting vote from Ben Aiona; Jason and Kristina Caira, N. Green Bay Rd, in Racine, WI for property on Chimney Rock Rd, for the purpose of parking a travel trailer and for Schultz’s Wedding & Event Barn LLC at for a location on N. Main St.

Two proposals were tabled until the March meeting and they were a building permit for Kevin Schultz for a garage attached to house status and a property update for Jane Enos to determine if it is a street or just property.

There was discussion on possible construction on a pair of parcels of land with JDJ Rentals LLC. General consensus is to move forward with the project with a possible rezoning or a variance. Other Board discussions and or updates include dam repairs, pond dredging, Hwy. 10 sewer project, the village museum and frozen lines on Bratberg St. .
