Jackson County Board approves zoning ordinance amendments
BLACK RIVER FALLS - The Jackson County Board voted favor of amendments to various zoning ordinances at its October meeting held last week Monday, Oct. 20 at the County Government Center.
These various amendments made changes to shoreline zoning codes in the county along with floodplain zoning, and subdivision and platting ordinances. All were adopted unanimously by Board members.
The Board also voted unanimously to use the 10 percent County Matching Fund Source in the Ho-Chunk Reserve Fund Balance in the amount indicated in the final grant award, not to exceed the proposed budget amount of $41,751.50 to offset the cost of a pending NG-911 improvement and upgrade project for the County’s designated Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) which s the Jackson County Communications Center.
